Two Dangerous Forces Coming Your Way

“Arise, cry out in the night,
as the watches of the night begin;
pour out your heart like water
in the presence of the Lord.
Lift up your hands to him
for the lives of your children.” (Lam 2:19)

I had planned to write about the fanatic, lunatic, ungodly plans of the jihadists. In fact, I am going to refer you to several articles about the plans of these “people”, plans which could be dangerous to your own personal health and that of your descendants. Please pay specific attention to the review of Jed Baffin’s new book “In the Words of Our Enemies.” Its reviewer (Larry Thornberry) concludes:

“Yes, Virginia, there is Evil in the world. Americans — and many other Westerners — don't do well with evil. We don't understand it. We often don't recognize it when it stares us in the face, or even when it kicks us in the ribs.”
“Affluent, congenial, welcoming America — a country flush with soccer moms with ‘Just be Nice’ bumper strips on their SUVs — has trouble even accepting that evil exists.”

“Jed Babbin's new book is… an attempted wake-up call. He shows us evil as a growing concern, chapter and verse, in evil's own words. We should read and heed. Our future depends on how well we deal with the threats that face us.”
“Yes, these people want to kill us, unless we bow to Allah, and they are willing to give up their own lives and their children's lives to accomplish this.”(emphasis mine)

However, as your Watchman I want to alert you to an equally dangerous threat to our society – Hillary’s plan to nationalize preschool. Here are some excerpts from an article about it:

“Clinton's proposal — introduced Thursday in the Senate — would give states $28 billion over five years to incorporate the nation's 120,000 preschools now run in firms, churches and storefronts into a government-run system.”

“Her universal preschool idea is sparking heated debate over the back fence and in policy circles. The question is basic: How much control should the government have in raising and teaching our young children?”

“It's Clinton's sharp tack to the left, arguing that government should take over small, independent preschools that make this super-nanny proposal reminiscent of her ill-fated single-payer health plan.” (emphases mine)

You may say, “Harry, here you go again – being an alarmist over what is really not worth a hiccup of concern.” My answer to that accusation is, “You do not understand what these superliberal/“progressive”/socialists want to do and how they operate.”

Through government programs, they plan to CONTROL your families’ lives, thoughts, education, beliefs, attitudes, health (or lack thereof), finances, etc.

How do they go about this when most Americans don’t want it? INCREMENTALLY! Little by little they take a bite out of our wonderful, God-given society until what’s left would be unrecognizable to our founders, and appalling to those of us who detest tyranny and secular humanism.

If these forces have their way, we will have a new abomination in our midst – the STATE as our Nanny, Master and chief Idol.

State-mandated and run nursery school is the first step. The elimination of Home Schooling is in their sights. Silencing all opposing voices (and dissent) is their plan. (Where have we heard this before? Answer: The Fairness Doctrine – Hugo Chavez in Venezuela – Vladimir Putin in Russia – Iraq under Saddam, etc., etc.)

What can we, the church of the Triune God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit), do about it?

1. Awaken! Do Not Look Away!
2. Resist; Speak Out, Vote and Be Active!
3. Warn and Teach Others!
4. Run for Office!
5. Help Awaken Your Slumbering, Self-Involved Church!
6. Repent, Cry Out, Beg and Implore God to Allow Us One More REVIVAL!

Elite Leaders: “Masters of the Universe”?

“But Jesus called them to Himself and said to them, ‘You know that those who are considered rulers over the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them.’” (Mk 10:42)

“Revive us, O God; make your face shine upon us, that we may be saved.” (Ps 80:3)

The quote in the title above came from the lips of Sen. Jeff Sessions (R., AL) during the run-up to the final vote on the Immigration bill which recently went down to an ignominious defeat. Sen. Sessions was referring to the high-handed, sleazy (my word, not his), superior perspective of those in charge of the procedures and the “debate” surrounding this contentious legislation (Senate co-conspirators had vigorously tried to ram this through with very limited and prejudged “debate”).

But, isn’t this what we can expect from elected and pagan political “Leaders” as well as major players in the media, entertainment and education Elites? Don’t they believe that “they know best” and the average people are simpletons who (in democracies) have to be tolerated or in tyrannies (the majority of countries) are ignored, jailed, silenced or killed?

Here are a few excerpts about this topic:

“As with the hubristic bureaucrats now running the EU, many British politicians see themselves as superior to the electorate” (Emmett Tyrrell Jr., 7/13/07). [May I add that the UN people have the same attitude];

Mark Steyn refers to these Senate “Leaders” (of both parties) as “Emirs-for-life” who regarded the citizens who objected to the Immigration bill as “impertinent whippersnappers” (7/2/07);

Rich Lowry noted that Sens. Trent Lott (R., Ms) and George Voinovich (R., Oh) reacted with “off-putting imperial pique” because people called their offices in opposition to the bill (6/29/07);

Thomas Sowell writes that “the elitists who wanted to rush the Immigration bill through Congress “are now telling us with great condescension how foolish we were.” He contends the “elites are continuing to insult people’s intelligence after being defeated.” (7/12/07);

The Washington Post’s David Broder (a major Elite player in D.C.) believes there’s too much democracy out there and calls the defeat of the Immigration bill “mob rule” and Washington is “altogether too responsive to public opinion.” (7/5/07);

Sen. Jim DeMint (R., S.C.) declares that when the “Leaders” brought this bill forward, “they declared war on the American people.” (see Robert Novak, 7/3/07);

Paul Craig Roberts reports that “democracy is out of favor throughout the Western world. In the UK and Europe, peoples are being forced, despite their expressed oppositions, into an EU identity that they reject… (the elites) have decided on their own that the people do not know best and will be ignored” (6/18/07). [I might add our own American Elites are trying to force us into subservience to UN rule and a North American Union* with Mexico and Canada, one very similar to the EU.]

I could continue with more quotes, but you get the idea. Perhaps the most obvious Elitist plot here in the USA is their looming attempt to SILENCE ALL DISSENT by shutting down TALK RADIO by way of reestablishing the so-called “Fairness Doctrine.” I have heard it said that if this ever happens, we can expect DECADES of ever-increasing tyranny and the purposeful annihilation of our Judeo-Christian culture. 2. Elect people opposed to this destruction of our God-given rights;
3. PRAY for REVIVAL! Pray for the Church to reawaken to its responsibility to defend our rights (see Neh 4:14).

Immigration and Assimilation (Part II)

“Can two walk together unless they are agreed?” (Amos 3:3)

“Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.” (1 Cor 1:10)

As discussed recently, I believe an unspoken feeling caused so many Americans to resent the Immigration bill – a sense that the illegals entering the southern border (in general) are not interested in “assimilating” into our wonderful God-given culture.

I read a comment of a 78 year-old Virginian who waited for hours for the Independence Day [July 4^th] parade in D.C.

“What a great country,” he exclaimed. Do the illegals and their supporters in Congress and the Big Media agree?

Michelle Malkin has assembled comments by the people who founded this country. They warned against indiscriminate immigration and the resultant division of the nation into hostile factions.

“Amnesty is dead. Now, let's talk about the other ‘A’ word. It's the word and the concept completely abandoned during the immigration debate: assimilation.”

“The survival of the American republic, Hamilton maintained, depends upon ‘the preservation of a national spirit and a national character.’”

“[F]ulfilling these fundamental duties is impossible without an orderly immigration and entrance system that discriminates in favor of those willing, as George Washington put it, to ‘get assimilated to our customs, measures [and] laws.’” (emphases mine)

Theodore Roosevelt, Immigration and Assimilation

“If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. (Mark 3:24-25)

“I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought.” (1 Cor 1:10)

Regarding the immigration bill, one of the things which most irritates the American public is that (in general) it’s obvious the illegal aliens seem to have NO INTEREST in ASSIMILATING into our Judeo-Christian, Eurocentric culture. They give the appearance of wanting to come here to earn money, continue to speak Spanish, hang out together, ignore our laws and benefit from our welfare system (sometimes on a fraudulent basis).

In 1907, President Theodore Roosevelt had the following to say about this:

"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else; for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin.

But this is predicated upon the person’s becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American…

There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all.

We have room for but one flag, the American flag ... We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language. And we have room for but one sole loyalty, and that is a loyalty to the American people." (Emphases mine)

To that, I say a resounding “Amen.” We WELCOME immigrants of all races, creeds and colors who want wholeheartedly to be AMERICANS and honor our history, laws, customs and language.
