“Treason” Again: Law of the Sea Treaty (LOST) 

“The sea is His, for He made it;
And His hands formed the dry land.” (Ps 95:5)

We seem to be coming to you often about TREASON.  Why?  Am I obsessed?  Do I see TREASON, like demons, under every rock?  I hope not.

As I pointed out recently (see Archives - Dated Oct 18) the Elites (read Socialists/ Marxists”) at home and abroad are continually reaching for more and more CONTROL and POWER.

This time they want to exercise CONTROL over 70% of the world’s surface and lands which affect the world’s oceans (e.g., the little stream in your backyard which eventually feeds into some ocean somewhere). 

Why are American supporters (e.g., President Bush, Hillary Clinton, Joseph Biden, Barack Obama, etc.) TRAITORS?  Because they are willingly and ardently handing over American Sovereignty to an international body affiliated with the corrupt and very anti-American UN. 

Each person advocating the Senate’s ratification of this evil and unpatriotic Treaty is betraying his/her sworn pledge to “uphold the Constitution of the United States” and defend her interests.  Therefore, in my opinion, they are TRAITORS!  (Many, many appeals have been made to President Bush to back away from his support of LOST; he simply refuses; this I know for a fact; see the “Relevant” article below.)

I have written twice before about LOST (Archives – Dated Sept 12 & Sept 26).  Please also see Rejectlost.org for a comprehensive analysis of the disastrous consequences which will take effect if LOST is ratified by the Senate. 

Below are some excerpts from a full-page advertisement exposing LOST.  The ad ran October 24, in the Washington Times:

“This accord gives a UN-affiliated organization the authority to control 70% of the world’s surface, as well as economic and industrial activities on land that affect the oceans.  As a practical matter, it can apply to the entire world.” 

“Given the extremely disappointing track record of the UN and related agencies – blighted by endemic corruption, incompetence and anti-American policies – why would anyone want to entrust them irreversibly with these and other sweeping powers?” 

“LOST sets up mandatory international tribunals with foreign judges capable of interfering with our military and commercial activities on and affecting the high seas, even if our government and Supreme Court disagree.”   

“Its unaccountable International Seabed Authority, now the subject of explosive corruption allegations, can exercise jurisdiction over potentially billions of dollars worth of oil, gas, and minerals in international waters and extract global ‘fees’(another word for taxes).” 

“Its production arm, known as ‘the Enterprise’, can demand money and sensitive technology from American businesses and transfer them to unfriendly countries and even ‘national liberation movements.’”  

“LOST also establishes ominous precedents for U.N. management of Outer Space and the Internet, with potentially far-reaching and negative implications for U.S. economic and national security interests.” 

“Mr. Reagan viewed LOST as fatally flawed, ‘an effort to promote global government at the expense of sovereign nation states – and most especially the United States.’”(emphases mine)

What’s REALLY going on?

“So justice is driven back,
and righteousness stands at a distance;
truth has stumbled in the streets,
honesty cannot enter.” (Is 59:14) 

For about two weeks the political left (politicians and media) have been trying to DESTROY Rush Limbaugh.  Their real target, however, is YOU!

They want to silence talk radio so that Christian/conservative spokesmen and women will be forced off the air.

Why would they want that?  POWER!  Unlimited TYRANNICAL Power!  If talk radio is silenced, YOU will not hear or understand perspectives or facts contrary to those of the Liberal Elites and they will be able to remake America (and your children, grandchildren) in their image and according to their worldviews – which are PAGAN. 

For example, when these Elites tried to ram through the recent Immigration legislation (which is still in play as they try to pass bits and pieces of it in the dark of night), talk radio dissected it, understood the ramifications of it and warned YOU to get engaged.  YOU rose up and the legislation failed (barely). 

The Elites cried out “Talk radio must be silenced!  We must reinstitute the FAIRNESS DOCTRINE!” If the Democrats regain the White House and larger majorities in the House and Senate, talk radio’s existence will be in jeopardy (this process has already started).  And YOU will be left in the dark.  TYRANNY will have been established!

Even now they are badgering Rush Limbaugh’s (and others) advertisers and radio stations to try to silence him. 

What happened?  What’s all the noise about?  Below are excerpts from an article by his brother, David, which explains it.  To get a deeper understanding than the excerpts provide, please read David’s entire article and the “relevant” ones cited at the bottom:

“Having said that, it is important separately to point out that many in the accusers' camp, like Senators Harry Reid and John Kerry and Congressman John Murtha, have unambiguously impugned, undermined or demoralized our soldiers.”

“They have perpetrated this phony scandal against my brother with actual malice. The ones behind the slander know they are lying; those merely echoing their words without bothering to investigate the facts are acting in reckless disregard for the truth.”

Brethren and concerned American patriots, we are in an era when “evil is called good and good is called evil” (See Is 5:20).  Lies and Liars abound, treacherous plots are concocted (see Prov 6:16-19), goodness and virtue are maligned and ignored, and evil people are “freely strutting about while honoring what is vile” (see Ps 12:18, 55:10-11; Ezek 8:6). 

So, bottom line, what’s the “Rush Limbaugh matter” all about?  Answers:

1.      Silencing critics of the Liberal Elites;

2.      Silencing and neutering YOU;

3.      Establishing TOTAL POWER forever;

4.      TYRANNY!

Will We Wake Up to the Danger?

As I have been watching the wonderful new documentary by Ken Burns about “The War” (7 episodes on PBS), it is painfully obvious that our country’s attitudes are dramatically different now than during World War II.  From my perspective – and that of the author [Linda Chavez] excerpted below – things are WORSE – MUCH WORSE!  And, she feels the War on Terror will be “unwinnable” if all of us do not “wake up to the danger”:

“The war in Iraq is unwinnable. It is becoming increasingly clear the United States cannot obtain decisive victory in any conflict that lasts longer than a few weeks or months… Politicians don't have the will to support a protracted war because Americans have no stomach for it.”

“Wars require sacrifice, and we have become a nation unaccustomed to adversity. Our leaders have asked most of us to give up precious little to support the war effort.”

“It would be easy to blame the politicians for their lack of will. But elected leaders generally reflect the views of the electorate. So why have we given up this fight? There is plenty of blame to go around.”

“The administration has badly bungled the war, first by committing fewer troops than needed to provide security once we toppled Saddam, then by changing its rationale for the war.”

“But the Democrats share responsibility as well. They have consistently put politics before the national interest. Their rhetoric has given aid and comfort to the enemy.”

“In the end, however, if we lose this war, Americans themselves will be to blame. We're more focused on Britney Spears and Paris Hilton than on fighting terrorism… most Americans are not asked to share any burden to win this war.”

“During World War II, our parents and grandparents made enormous sacrifices to ensure victory. They went without basic necessities, not to mention luxuries, so our troops would be properly fed and clothed… Newspapers put the nation's security first, never using the First Amendment as an excuse to reveal information that could jeopardize the war effort.”

What “danger” is she talking about?  It may sound extreme to you, but the answer can be summed up in one word – DESTRUCTION!  

That is the goal of our implacable enemy – the Islamofascists.  It is their stated goal to destroy Israel, America and the rest of Western Civilization.   

Chavez lays much responsibility at the feet of the politicians and the media.  For example, during WWII the New York Times would NEVER have leaked vital information to Hitler or Tojo.  The politicians (especially the opposition party) would NEVER have sided with our enemies in public.  Would Hitler have been invited to Columbia and received applause and affirmation as President Ahmadinejad did?  

This may sound harsh to you, but through the prophet Jeremiah, God warned the people of Judah and Jerusalem that He was going to bring disaster and destruction upon them (Jer 14:22-12).  

Why would He do such a terrible thing?  Answer:  They had forsaken Him and His Laws for a long time, worshipped idols and false gods and practiced other abominations such as child sacrifice[see today’s abortion] (Jer 16:10-13; 19:4-5).  He pleaded with them to “REPENT and turn from your evil ways… and reform”, but they refused, preferring to “continue with our own plans… and follow the stubbornness of (our) evil hearts” (Jer 18:7-12). 

So, will Americans wake up to our danger?  Will God’s prophets, pastors and priests awaken and be the watchmen they are supposed to be (Ezek 33:1-6)?  Or, will we suffer the same fate as ancient Judah and Israel?  We certainly deserve it.  Maybe in His Wrath, God will remember Mercy (Hab 3:2).
